-Early Years-
Early year students are continuing to enjoy learning Spanish! They are practicing greetings, goodbyes, feelings, emotions, common questions, colors, animals, parts of the body, numbers, months of the year, and days of the week in class. They are enjoying learning many new songs and games in Spanish in order to help them remember the new vocabulary. Last month students were introduced to vocabulary pertaining to fall. This month we will continue to reinforce this material. In addition, we will introduce words and expressions related to Thanksgiving and will practice this new material in various songs and games..
-Lower School-
Lower school students have learned the greetings, goodbyes, feelings, emotions, common questions, colors, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, animals, parts of the body, question words, frequently used verbs, the alphabet in Spanish, and vocabulary pertaining to fall. This month, we will continue to review and practice this acquired vocabulary, and in addition, students will be introduced to Thanksgiving words and phrases. They will continue to reinforce these words through writing and listening activities in Spanish as well as through song. They are enjoying practicing the vocabulary and are enthusiastic learners!
