¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!
This week in Spanish class…

3K - Kindergarten:
This week students will be reviewing how to say hello, goodbye and expressing how they are feeling.  In addition, they will review the colors, the numbers 1-10, and the animals.  They will be learning these topics through a variety of activities in class.

First Grade:
Students will review greetings and farewells, express how they are feeling as well as ask others how they are feeling.  In addition, they will review colors, numbers, animals, and the alphabet.

Second Grade:
Students will review greetings and farewells, express how they are feeling as well as ask others how they are feeling.  In addition, they will review colors, numbers, animals, and the alphabet.  They will pay close attention to the sounds that the vowels make as well as certain consonants.  Students will create conversations using the various topics from the review material.

Third Grade:
Students will review many topics from last year from which they will build upon.  Students will review the alphabet, greetings and farewells, colors, numbers, tú and usted, as well express their likes and dislikes while learning various new vocabulary words and phrases.

Fourth Grade:
Students will review many topics from last year from which they will build upon.  They will continue to master the subject pronouns, the alphabet, colors, numbers, greetings and farewells, how to express feelings and emotions, as well as learn various new vocabulary words and phrases.

Fifth Grade:
Students will review greetings, goodbyes, ask and respond to various questions, review tú versus usted as well as the other subject pronouns, classroom commands, numbers 1-100, parts of the body, how to ask and tell time, and masculine and feminine definite articles.

Sixth Grade:
Students will review greetings, goodbyes, ask and respond to various questions, review tú versus usted as well as the other subject pronouns, classroom commands, numbers 1-100, parts of the body, how to ask and tell time, masculine and feminine definite articles, classroom objects, and days of the week and months of the year.

Seventh Grade:

Students will review various verbs and adjectives, which will include the class schedule and classes, classroom objects, breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods, the present tense conjugations of verbs ending in –ar, -er, and –ir as well as the verb gustar, how to make adjectives plural, pastime vocabulary, and interrogative words.
